Asus Transformer PadRitchie’s Room has posted some interesting videos about the Infinity Pad Transformer, the tablet hybrid that Asus will soon replace the top of the family Transformer.

Besides the ritual unboxing of, Ritchie also offers a preview that covers mainly the first impact with the attractive appearance of the tablet Ultrabook. Even more interesting however is the third video, a comparison with the iPad third generation, his closest rival.

The Infinity Transformer Pad is equipped with a quick 3 Nvidia Tegra SoC (then follow with a version Snapdragon S4 version LTE), an excellent 10.1-inch 1080p display protected by Gorilla Glass 2, 8 and two 2-megapixel cameras, 1GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of internal memory and of course WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. Specifications that follow almost exactly those of Prime, from which it differs principally for the display and high-density chassis revised to allow efficient operation of the GPS.

During the launch event in Milan, Asus had announced June 10 as the earliest date for the availability of the Infinity, but currently is not available on any online store. According to allegations made by a French site, the tablet hybrid is coming to France (presumably by us) by the middle of July the price of 599 € for the 32GB version, or € 699 for the 64GB, both with the keyboard dock.
